With over 15 years of experience as a speech-language therapist, my mission is to support children and their caregivers in overcoming communication and learning challenges. By fostering growth and self-expression, I help each child unlock their full potential and let their true selves shine with confidence.

In addition to my therapy practice, I am also a certified yoga teacher, children's yoga instructor, and Social Emotional Learning Facilitator. I feel privileged to share these tools with my clients at Evergreen, integrating mindfulness and emotional awareness to enhance their overall well-being.

About Me

Speech-Language Pathologist

I have extensive experience supporting children (ages 1+) with a diverse range of speech and language needs, including language development, executive functioning, speech sound and motor speech disorders, complex communication needs, social communication, stuttering, and swallowing.

By incorporating my training as a certified children's yoga teacher, I create a holistic therapy experience that nurtures the whole child, highlighting their unique strengths and ensuring that all aspects of their development are supported throughout our partnership. Additionally, I work as an educational advocate, guiding families through the complexities of the educational system and collaborating with school teams to ensure my clients receive the appropriate speech, language, and related services.

I also work with young adults, adults, and seniors, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each life stage. Whether supporting young adults transitioning into higher education or assisting seniors in maintaining communication skills, I am committed to helping clients of all ages achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through personalized, compassionate care.

Children’s Yoga Teacher

My mindfulness and yoga practice have supported me through many seasons of life. As a speech-language pathologist, I’ve found powerful ways to integrate neurodiversity-affirming early language and literacy into children’s yoga classes through themed stories and movement—and I’m passionate about sharing these tools with as many children and young adults as possible.

In 2021, I began incorporating yoga and mindfulness into my speech sessions and was amazed at how quickly students became more engaged and confident. Inspired by the positive impact on my students, I went on to complete my 200-hour yoga teacher training, kids' yoga certification, and became a certified Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Facilitator. Now, I love blending these practices to support whole-child development.

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Facilitator

I also offer engaging, hands-on professional development workshops for preschool and elementary school educators, focusing on SEL to support both student growth and teacher well-being. Through interactive content and practical strategies, I help create nurturing classroom environments where young learners thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
