*Beginning 5/1/2025, a 3.1% convenience fee applies to all card transactions (credit, debit, HSA, FSA). There is no convenience fee for paying with cash and checks.

While we don’t work directly with insurance, we’re happy to support families by providing a monthly superbill for counseling services received. Superbills are emailed by the 15th of each month to the email address linked to your portal account and include a detailed summary of the previous month’s sessions.

If you have out-of-network benefits, you can submit the superbill to your insurance provider to request reimbursement. Not sure if you’re eligible? A quick call to the mental health number on the back of your insurance card can help clarify your coverage.

Working with a private-pay practice means you're no longer restricted by the demands of an insurance company. Together, your therapist will work with you to create a treatment plan that makes sense for your unique needs not only for your mental health but your financial situation too.

We offer fair, simple pricing that is transparent so you know what you're going to pay before it's owed. Gone are the days from blindly submitting claims to an insurance company waiting to see what they'll cover.

ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL
Uninsured or out-of-network? Not a worry. Everyone is welcome.

Itemized superbills are provided to clients at the end of each month. If your insurance company provides reimbursement for seeing an out-of-network provider, you can submit a claim for reimbursement.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING
Whether you're seeking a full 50-minute session or just want to check in with a 15-minute phone call, working with a private-pay practice allows flexibility with the length and frequency of your sessions.

Oftentimes, insurance carriers will restrict the number of approved sessions for treatment. This isn't the case here. We're here when you need us.

Declined Payment Policy

To schedule appointments, we require a valid credit or debit card on file. Your card will be charged within 2 business days after your appointment, unless we’ve agreed to other arrangements in writing beforehand.

If your card is declined or the payment doesn’t go through, here’s what will happen:

1- We’ll let you know right away so you can provide an alternate form of payment.

2- Payment needs to be completed within 2 business days of that notification.

• If the balance isn’t paid within 2 business days, a $10 declined payment fee will be added to your account.

• We will also attempt to collect payment by billing any additional cards we have on file.

• Your balance must be paid at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment, or our office manager will cancel it. Future sessions will be paused until your balance is paid.

3- If your card is declined more than twice, future appointments will require prepayment within 2 business days of scheduling, or as soon as possible if the appointment is booked for the same week.

• If a prepayment is declined, a $10 declined payment fee will be added to your balance.

• If a required prepayment does not go through, we will notify you and give you 2 business days to provide a new payment method. If payment is not resolved within that window, the appointment may be canceled.

• Going forward, if prepayment is declined more than twice, we may be unable to schedule future appointments until the issue is resolved.

We understand that financial challenges can arise, and we’re here to work with you. However, it’s important to let us know in advance if you're having difficulty with payment. This will help us support you and find a solution together.

Most clients keep a credit or debit card on file, which our office manager charges within two business days after each appointment. Clients paying by cash or check pay at the time of service.

Prepayment is not required for most clients. It may be required if a card on file has declined more than twice. If prepayment is required, payment must be completed within 2 business days of scheduling, or as soon as possible if the appointment is booked for the same week.
