Mental health affects our relationships, perspective, and overall well-being. Reaching out for support takes self-awareness and courage, and you have already taken the first step by being here. In our work together, I will support you with acceptance, compassion, and genuine curiosity as you build skills, work toward your goals, and better understand yourself.

I work with children (ages 7+), adolescents, adults, couples, and non-traditional relationships.

About Me

My therapeutic style is humanistic, holistic, and trauma-informed. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you better understand why you think, act, and respond the way you do. As trust develops, we can begin to collaborate, gently challenge old patterns, and work toward meaningful growth.

I work to create a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, empowerment, and respect. I believe people are better able to do difficult things when they feel supported, and that support can create the confidence needed to move outside of old comfort zones.

In our work together, we may explore societal pressures, family dynamics, identity, relationships, grief, body image, self-harm, disordered eating, and other stressors that may be showing up in your life.

Areas of Focus:

  • Before pursuing therapy, I worked with animals for years, including as a vet tech. In that work, I often supported people navigating pet loss and burnout in the veterinary profession. That experience continues to shape my clinical interests, and I am honored to support individuals and families grieving the loss of a beloved pet.

  • I am also familiar with supporting clients navigating grief, body-image issues, self-harm, disordered eating, and other difficult life experiences.

  • I provide an affirming space for clients of all genders, sexualities, cultures, and relationship structures, including polyamory and ethical non-monogamy. I encourage you to show up as your authentic self.

If you feel ready to take the next step, I would be honored to support you.

What Clients Are Saying…

“A couple of years ago I was searching for counselors for my daughters to help them process our family's new divorce. From the moment that Alexis answered my call, I knew that Evergreen was going to provide us with the best support through this major life change.

Our therapist took the time to listen without judgment, validate their feelings, as well as offer sound suggestions and strategies for working through their stress and anxieties. As a mom, I couldn't ask for anything more valuable for my daughters. If you're looking for a counseling home for you or someone in your family, Evergreen just might be the place for you, too." - Grateful Mom

"Be the change you wish to see in the world."
